EGOV05 - Fifth International Conference on E-Government

Paper submission

EGOV 05 will distinguish among four types of papers:
The Research section invites papers with

  • Completed research - max 12 pages.
  • Research in progress - max 8 pages.

Papers in this section will be blind reviewed by 3 reviewers for rigor, relevance, originality and clarity of presentation. Please take care when you submit your paper not to indicate your names and affiliation in the paper! Accepted papers will be published by Springer in "Lecture Notes in Computer Science" (LNCS).

The Workshop section invites

  • Projects/posters - max 8 pages project descriptions and discussion of ongoing or completed projects.
  • Workshops/panels - max 3 pages abstracts. Workshops and panels on topics pertinent to e-government issues or developments.

Papers in this section will be reviewed for quality and relevance. Accepted project papers will be published by Trauner Druck, Linz in the series "Schriftenreihe Informatik".

PhD student colloquium on 22nd August 2005
This colloquium invites PhD students to submit their project and thesis proposals, which will be reviewed and discussed by other PhD students and senior e-government researchers. The aim is to bring PhD students, who are scattered across countries and disciplines together to share experiences and become familiar with the e-government research community. Contributions will not be published but distributed among colloquium participants.

Important dates

  • Submission of research papers: March 15, 2005
  • Submission of posters: April 1, 2005
  • Submissions to PhD colloquium: April 1, 2005
  • Notification of acceptance: April 15
  • Camera-ready copies due: May 31
