TED Conference on e-Government

SCOPE
TCGOV-2005 will address a large spectrum of issues that are relevant and have to be investigated for a successful transition from the traditional form of government to a new form known as e-Government. The conference has a strong interdisciplinary character and aims to bring together people from different sectors, including researchers, technology providers, administrative staff, and politicians.

  • 10 contributed technical sessions featuring 28 regular papers
  • 1 poster session with 18 poster presentations
  • 3 keynote presentations by Roland Traunmueller (University of Linz),  David Basin (ETH Zurich and Zurich Information Security Center), and  Thanassis Chrissafis, European Commission, DG Information Society,  Unit E-Government
  • SIPPS - Secure Information Processing in the Public Sector  (Clustering Event organized by eMayor - an EU 6FP IST STREP project)
  • 2nd eBZ Workshop on e-Government,  (organized by the Municipality and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano)
